Things people often wonder about

I've never done somatic or body-based work. Is this for me?

Absolutely. Many people who come to this work have spent years in talk therapy and feel something important is still unreached. You don't need any prior experience with somatic work only a genuine curiosity and a willingness to notice what's happening in your body. We always start where you are, at the pace of your system.

Do I need to move or dance? What if I'm not comfortable with that?

Nothing is required. Movement in this context means following natural impulses, a gesture, a breath, a shift of posture, not performing or choreographing anything. If movement doesn't feel right, we work through sensation and awareness instead. Your comfort is always part of what we're tracking.

How is this different from regular therapy?

Traditional therapy works primarily through language and insight, understanding patterns and their origins. Somatic work adds another dimension: the body itself. We work with what's happening in your nervous system, your breath, your posture, your impulses — in real time. This allows change to happen at a level that insight alone often can't reach. The two can complement each other beautifully.

Do I need to share a lot about my family for constellation work?

No. Constellation work doesn't require a detailed family history. You bring a question or a sense of what's been troubling you and we follow what emerges from the field. Often the most profound movements happen when we know very little and simply attend to what the system is showing us.

Do you offer online sessions? Are they as effective?

Yes — I work with clients online regularly, and the work is genuinely effective in this format. Somatic work travels through the relational field, not through physical proximity. Many clients actually find that being in their own home creates an additional sense of safety that supports the work. The group program is offered fully online.

How do I know if we're the right fit?

The initial conversation is exactly for this. We speak, we sense each other, and both of us feel into whether this is the right match. I will always be honest with you if I feel my work isn't what you need and I'll do my best to point you toward someone or something that might be. The fit matters as much to me as it does to you.
